After the rise in water yesterday it looks like it has stirred some fish up and with quite a few fish showing over the beat. Mathew Findlay landed this cracking 18lb salmon in the Ivy Tree on a rapala .

The calibre  of salmon that can hold in this beat and can be caught with some luck. These were two big fish caught on my boat a few seasons ago on the Dunkeld beat top one was 34lb , bottom one was 28lb both caught one october . Maybe a bigger one to come ?

Two first fish today on the Dunkeld House Beat with two of Jock Monteith's Guided clients catching the first salmon. First one was caught in the Rock pool was 4lb and the second from the Ivy Tree pool on a vision 110 this was 7lb.
