Having a good selection of salmon flys with you is a must, even if you take six flys that you have faith in and have them tied in a good range of sizes from small doubles to tubes will cover your fishing day's fishing on the river. Also make sure you have a good range of sink tips with you to cover the pools properly to give yourself the best chance on the day .
