Dunkeld House Salmon Fishing
A mixed week with the weather from the snow to the nice few days it just feels like a typical spring week. From thursday the river has been slowly coming up with the snow melt but it is still clear. The tail end of the week we did see one or two springers on the move. Hopefully this week more fish will start to show up.

Dunkeld House Hotel
The Dunkeld House Hotel on the banks of the river Tay . A lot of money has been spent bring the hotel back up to its former glory and what a difference there is . Its looking really good now and well worth a look if you are fishing the Dunkeld House beat its ideal if your wife or girlfriend is coming with you for a night.

Casting a fly down through the Tail of the Gauge pool on the Dunkeld House beat. The tail of this pool has a good few big stones in it when your fly starts to swing over these boils you are always waiting for that take.

Dunkeld House Salmon Fishing
The beautiful Dunkeld House Beat . Some snow fell over night but quickly went away a cold night tonight with more snow to come over the week . Some big fish in the river now with some luck one or two might fancy holding up here for a few days.
